Website Redesign:
Inkwell Artist

I redesigned a website for a startup business to make it cleaner and more client-friendly
Project Summary
The original website emphasized her artwork portfolio but gave little attention to the items she had for sale. My goal was to redesign the site to be more accessible and product-focused — shifting the spotlight from just showcasing her art to helping visitors easily discover and purchase her work.
Before & After
Before:
The original site prioritized showcasing her full body of artwork, but gave little visibility to the shop or products available for sale. The homepage was heavily focused on artwork, and the image selection was either overwhelming or too sparse in key areas. My goal was to create better balance — shifting the focus toward her store while still highlighting her creative work.
After:
I streamlined the site’s navigation by removing unnecessary tabs and adding clearer, more intuitive ones. I reorganized the image layout to create a smoother visual flow, and refocused the homepage to highlight the store and featured products, making it easier for visitors to browse and shop.

Testimonial
“Kayla is a incredibly creative and through web manager. She always finds exciting ways to present information, and provides several options to choose from. They learned the ins and outs of my website and my program quickly, and was able to provide options for displaying my work that I hadn’t known existed! Kayla’s truly upgraded my web presence into a site that looks and feels exciting to visit. I’m so glad she’s working with us!”
